We liked Prince Edward County so much, that we decided to stay, bike around and see this beautiful place a bit longer. It was well worth it, on the roads is little traffic and every few kilometers there is a winery which offers sampling, some even food and accommodation. Then we saw a wonderful house for sale, an old little farm, which land down to the lake, 48 acres, on a quiet road, just the ideal place for our future as B&B keepers. We called the agent who to our luck just had time and even the owners were there and happy to meet us. So we spend the afternoon visiting the house and ended up being invited for tea and a interesting discussion. The owners are very interesting people, with 55 they asked themselves whether to continue working in Toronto like crazy or to move out here on the countryside. Both were very successful in their field and it was not an easy decision. Finally they choose the quiet live and had 17 wonderful years fixing this little farm. But now, it has become too large for them, so they sell it. We didn´t buy it, but we left with a bit of sadness!
