Hamilton to Woodstock (76 km)

It was the perfect automn day, fresh morning a cloudless sky and surprisingly warm 24 C. As the nights become really cold, the maple trees now are more and more colorful, its awesome to see all these leaves in millions of colours.
From Hamilton to Woodstock it is one straight road, that made the navigation very simple. On our way we passed villages and cities with very familiar names or saw the signs towards them: Paris, London, Breslau, Eden and even Harley.
It´s farming land, many milkfarms and many berryfarms. The coming weekend is Thanksgiving, so many farms make beautiful barnshops and sell orange pumkins and sweet corn.
In Paris we stopped for our lunch and we did it the French way. Good bread and cheese, sitting in the soon on a bench and watching the people walking past. Every now and then someone started talking, and always they find it incredible that we do such a tour by bicycle. For us it seems not unusual anymore, but I guess it still is.
These encounters make the stay and our journey here so fascinating. All the contact with the people we have! We never feel alone here, on every day we spoke to several people.
