Middle Musquodoboit to Halifax (91 km)

Another day in Paradies. Cloudless sky, we take off too late after a big breakfast and long chats with the host lady. The road again is a bikers paradies, little trafic, rolling hills and valleys, with rivers and then the bays. We follow the coastline, sometimes along the train trakes, but we never see a train. At a bakery and the railwaymuseum we stop and see this aweome snowplow.

Closer to Halifax are wonderful beaches, Frank even goes swimming, but the water is icecold. Doesn´t bother the hardened people here, the are on the beach and swimming as if the water was nice and warm. Tough!

In the evening we reach Halifax, the traffic and noise seem extremly heavy, but it must be, because we had so quiet times before. Halifax has arround 360´000 habitants, which is about 40% of Nova Scotia and all see to be on the road.

In the evening we sit in a grill restaurant close to the harbour and watch the Harley Bikers, some sound like thunderstorms and we wonder how the drivers keep them so clean and shiny.
