Bridgewater to Annapolis royal (115 km)

The day started with a Mc Donalds breakfast, because we had a room in a Motel where no breakfast was being served. First visit in a Mc Donalds, we were shocked how much garbage it leaves behind eating there. Horrible!
What followed was a long stretch, crossing the province from South to North. We had bin a bit nervous, because of the fact, that the road was going through rather remote areas.
The road leads mainly through forest, then little lakes and only very few settlements. Wonderful! The forest starts to become red, the Indian Sommer with the beautiful colours starts showing.
The wind was strong, some times from the back, mostly from the side, not much help! Katrin´s bike worked well, it took us 6 hours to go through. On our way we passed a wonderfull lodge on a lake, we would have bought it right away! But it seemed not for sale.
Later we passed a dry stone builder, a job that Frank did once, it was nice to see that here.
When we arrived we found the King Georg Inn B&B/Inn here in historic Annapolis, the first time with jaccusi! It was such a relieve to get a bath after a long day in the bright sun.
